It’s no fun tossing and turning for hours staring at the back of our eyelids.
And it’s certainly no fun Googling for a fix at 2 past midnight to come across suggestions like:

Avoid daytime naps! (Whaat! It’s 2:30am and I can’t sleep while thinking of sleep)

Don’t think. And this is precisely the moment when we start to think about ‘how not to think!’
And on and on. We’ve tried it all and then some.
It’s been years of short, shallow sleep and waking up all groggy. And those prescriptions went out the window (most of ‘em made us feel like a zombie).
But there’s hope.
We refuse to believe that our ability to sleep has been permanently damaged.
